Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has revealed that he was offered a substantial sum of money to campaign against Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, but he turned it down.
The rapper made the revelation while reacting to backlash for asking Obi to support his upcoming album.
Addressing critics on social media, Odumodublvck defended his request, emphasizing that he had already made sacrifices for the politician.
“Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Mr. Peter, but I turned it down. Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask, as I am not the one to seek favors. I sacrificed my life for this man. No wam. The Machine is coming,” he wrote.
