“Mr Governor also appealed to Lagosians to keep obeying traffic rules and also offices that can work from home, or work online for this period of the work.”
The Federal Government on Wednesday reversed its decision to close to vehicular traffic. The Minister of Works, Sen. Dave Umahi, made the announcement in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, Mrs. Olukorede Kesha.
The Independence Bridge was initially shut down on April 1 for critical maintenance and rehabilitation. And it was expected to remain closed until May.
