Award-winning Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has vowed to turn a new leaf and stay faithful in his marriage.
In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club podcast, the singer opened up about his controversial love life, admitting that his past experiences have taught him valuable lessons.
Davido said he has no plans to cheat again, citing the challenges he faced from being involved with multiple women.
“I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala. I have five kids with four women. I’d rather go and live how my other guys are living,” Davido stated. “Maybe because I’ve had bad experiences. Sometimes experience is the best teacher.”
He also referenced his uncles’ polygamous households, noting they are still dealing with relationship problems—something he wants to avoid.
The singer went on to confirm that he and his longtime partner and wife, Chioma, will be having their white wedding in August in Miami, United States.
Speaking about their twins, Davido shared an emotional connection between his newborn son and his late child, Ifeanyi, who tragically passed away in 2022.
“We’ve got twins now, a boy and a girl. The boy looks exactly like my son who passed. They act the same. Everything he used to do, he does,” he said.
