In a bold move to ensure safety and uphold law and order, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC) arrested 36 miscreants this morning during a pre-dawn raid in Oshodi.
The operation was part of the state’s ongoing efforts to tackle criminal activities and maintain public order.
The arrests, which took place in various parts of Oshodi, are a clear demonstration of Lagos’ #ZeroToleranceLagos initiative, aimed at clamping down on illegal and antisocial behavior.
The suspects, believed to be involved in a range of unlawful activities, were taken into custody for further investigation.
The swift action by LAGESC operatives is expected to send a strong message to other individuals engaged in disruptive activities, reinforcing the state’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
A statement from the Lagos State Government commended the environmental corps for their continued vigilance and promised further efforts to eliminate criminal elements across the city.
“The safety of Lagosians remains our top priority, and this successful operation is just one example of our commitment to maintaining peace and order in our communities,” the statement read.
This operation follows a series of similar actions taken across the state, reinforcing the government’s pledge to keep Lagos a safe and secure environment for all.
