American rapper and entertainer, Montero Lamar Hill, known professionally as Lil Nas X, has shared with fans that one side of his face has become paralyzed.
In a video posted to Instagram on Monday, the “Old Town Road” artiste explained that he had “lost control” of the right side of his face.
The update came alongside a photo of him in what appeared to be a hospital room, wearing a patient gown.
Lil Nas X also demonstrated the condition by attempting to smile, saying, “And when I smile, this is me doing a full smile right now by the way,” before adding, “Bro, I can’t even laugh right.”
The rapper’s revelation quickly garnered support from fans and fellow celebrities, with actress Taraji P. Henson commenting, “Get well baby,” among other well-wishes flooding the comments section.
Many speculated that Lil Nas X might be suffering from Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes muscle weakness on one side of the face, as explained by the Mayo Clinic.
