Popular Nigerian Dj Florence Otedola also known as Dj Cuppy shares some lessons she has learnt in her spiritual journey.
Dj Cuppy in a recent video says she is grateful for realizing what true success means.
This video came just few days after she opened up about discovering her purpose and identity through her faith.
“To be a follower of Christ means death of self, so, if I think about the thing I’m most grateful for, it’s actually self-awareness.” she said.
Dj Cuppy spoke on how she realized that success in worldly terms made her feel empty.
“I actually cannot believe how successful I was by worldly terms, but how empty I felt inside. The worst thing is not being in a situation, but the worst thing is not realising that you’re actually in one,” she says in her video.
While speaking on her new focus, she expressed that fulfillment does not come from fame.
“Honestly, I’m so thankful I realised not only that I was empty but also what I needed to fill those holes.” she stated.
Dj Cuppy who is now being open about her journey in her Christian Faith gave scriptural backing to her new resolve quoting some pages from the Bible.
