Popular Nigerian musician, Skales has hit a milestone with a track -Shake Body, which was released 10 years ago.
The musician reached the milestone of 1 million listeners for the first time on a popular streaming platform- Spotify.
His track -Shake Body gradually went viral on TikTok last month and enjoyed a massive increase in streams in after young Barcelona star – Lamine Yamal used the sound in a viral video. Shortly after that, users on the platform also started a dance challenge using the sound which led to increase in streams.
The song which was released in May 2014, nearly 11 years ago has since then been enjoying a comeback and global recognition as Skales is set to go on tour to Europe soon.
The singer, Skales, made this announcement via his Instagram account yesterday.
