Davido sets the stage on fire with explosive new Album ‘5ive’

Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially dropped his highly anticipated fifth studio album, ‘5ive’.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that ahead of the album’s release, Davido had already teased fans with three hit singles — ‘Be There Still’, ‘Funds’ featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and ‘Awuke’ featuring YG Marley.

The 17-track body of work boasts collaborations with international and homegrown stars including Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, Shensea, and more.

In ‘Funds’, Davido brings his signature high-energy delivery, complemented by Odumodublvck’s raw bars and Chike’s soulful vocals. On ‘Titanium’, he and Chris Brown sing about emotional resilience in the face of heartbreak, while ‘Offa Me’ with Victoria Monét explores desire and intimacy. ‘Nuttin Dey’ serves as an anthem of confidence and enduring legacy.

‘5ive’ marks Davido’s first studio album since 2023’s ‘Timeless’, which topped Billboard’s World Albums Chart.
