Controversial Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pretty Mike, has revealed details of a private conversation he had with actress Iyabo Ojo regarding his appearance at her daughter, Priscilla Ojo’s wedding to Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, Pretty Mike shared photos from the glamorous event and opened up about being asked to tone down his signature dramatic entrance for the occasion.
According to him, the bride’s mother, Iyabo Ojo, pleaded with him to keep his antics minimal, citing concerns that her new in-laws already considered her “a bit wacko.”
He added that Iyabo’s partner, Paulo Okoye, also called him with a similar plea: “tune it down small,” but still give guests a show.
However, Pretty Mike said it was Priscilla herself who encouraged him to go full throttle. “My sister, the bride, said I should bring the heat tonight,” he wrote, though he admitted he didn’t fully deliver on the promise.
Sending a message to Priscilla’s husband, Juma Jux, Pretty Mike jokingly noted that the singer had married not just Priscilla but an entire nation of dramatic, attention-grabbing Nigerians.
“Dear Tanzania in-laws, you did not just marry our sister and daughter; you married an entire nation. You will have to take us as we come,” he said in his post, signing off with the wedding hashtag #JP2025 and the phrase “LoveWon.”
