TCO celebrates Easter, slams saboteurs, backs Tinubu’s bold Food Security push

The Tinubu Campaign Organisation (TCO) has extended warm Easter wishes to Christians nationwide, describing the season as a powerful reminder of restoration, recovery, and liberty through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a Saturday statement issued in Abuja, TCO urged Nigerians to embrace the virtues of love, kindness, forgiveness, humility, and hope exemplified by Christ.

The group prayed that the resurrection power would renew lives, uplift the nation, and help Nigeria overcome insecurity and economic hardship.

TCO also commended President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in the agricultural sector, calling it a timely step towards ensuring food security.

However, the organisation stressed the need for an independent intervention agency—free from sabotage and ineffective bureaucracy—to drive the initiative.

According to TCO, past interventions were sabotaged by “enemies of progress” within relevant ministries. It recommended that the proposed agency be placed directly under Presidential supervision for effective implementation.

“Only with direct oversight can the agency succeed in transforming the agricultural sector and ensuring lasting food security,” the group stated.
