Abia state government has urged able youths to participate in the recruitment exercise of the Nigerian Army.
The statement was made by the Commissioner for Information Prince Okey Kanu on behalf of the state government.
He described the program as a valuable opportunity for the youths and an opportunity for personal development.
Kanu in his statement urged the youths of Abia state to make use of the opportunity of the recruitment program to build military careers for themselves.
“This recruitment exercise is a strategic pathway for national service, self-development, and youth empowerment, Abia youths are therefore encouraged to demonstrate patriotism, courage, and determination by actively participating in this process,” he said.
Kanu explained the stages of the recruitment process.
“This recruitment exercise is more than just an enlistment into the Army, it is a gateway to personal growth, discipline, and national contribution, the Abia State Government remains committed to promoting initiatives that uplift and engage our youths meaningfully,” Kanu stated.
The Abia state Government also encouraged the leaders of the various factions and religions to mobilise able youths in their community for the recruitment program.
