Thirteen suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested in their hideout in Kubwa, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson for the anti-graft agency announced the arrest of the suspected internet fraudsters in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, the suspected internet fraudsters were arrested on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in their hideout in Kubwa, following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.
They were arrested by operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the EFCC.
According to the statement, items recovered from the suspects include three laptops, 17 phones and two cars.
The anti-graft agency, in the statement said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
