Popular Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, has opened up about his favourite foods and his strong opinions on certain meals.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, Falz declared that a dislike for plantain is a major deal breaker for him in any romantic relationship.
“Not liking plantain is serious grounds for break up,” he wrote.
The “Bop Daddy” crooner further shared that his all-time favorite meal is boiled yam and fried eggs, stating he could happily eat it every day for the rest of his life.
“One meal I can eat everyday for the rest of my life – boiled yam and fried eggs,” he posted.
However, Falz sparked controversy with his comment about semo, a popular Nigerian staple. He joked that semo should not even be considered food and discouraged eating it altogether.
“I wouldn’t advise eating semo in the morning…or any time of the day in fact. It shouldn’t be food,” he said.
