A Benin-based real estate agent and business man, Mr Joel Umwueni Isibor, has been reportedly murdered by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

The assailants reportedly broke into the 42-year-old deceased’s Friday evening and shot him at close range.

Meanwhile, the Edo State Government has directed security agencies to fish out the killers of Isibor.

The Deputy Governor of the State, Dennis Idahosa, disclosed this on Sunday when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at their residence.

Idahosa disclosed that the State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, was deeply touched and saddened over the gruesome murder of a vibrant young and energetic man.

He assured that the State Government will leave no stone unturned to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to book.

Idahosa disclosed that the State Government will synergise with security agencies to launch high scale investigation into the matter, with a view to apprehending the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

He, therefore, warned criminal elements to relocate from the State, adding that the government will not compromise its stand on dealing defensively with criminals and their collaborators, using the instrumentality of the law, to serve as deterrent to others.

Responding, wife of the deceased, Mrs Joel Isibor, appreciated the State Government for its prompt response to commiserate with the family.

She disclosed that the assailant laid ambush for her husband, while trying to lock the shop after the day’s business and opened fire on him, without any provocation,
