The Governor of Lagos State, Babjide Sanwo-Olu, has received a prestigious award at the 17th edition of the Headies award.
The award was given to celebrate and honor Sanwo-Olu on the 27th of April 2025.
The award given to the Governor was in recognition to his contributions to the music industry and his investments in the growth of the state.
Other recipients of special awards at the Headies asides Sanwo-Olu are Amaju Pinnick and Alex Okosi.
The Governor of Lagos State attended the awards ceremony but was no longer in attendance at the time he was presented the award. The award was received by senior officials on behalf of the Governor.
This notable award and recognition for Sanwo-Olu celebrates his commendable efforts in promoting arts, culture, music and creativity in Lagos State.
