Nigerian comedian and prophet Woli Arole has called out Nigerians living abroad for displaying a superiority complex, advising them to remain humble.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Arole shared a personal experience where a man, pridefully boasting about his return from America, tried to impress him.
The comedian, however, responded by reminding the individual that he resides in Nigeria and is thriving.
Arole’s message was clear: Nigerians living outside the country should not look down on others or consider themselves superior simply because they live abroad. He said:
“Don’t have a superiority complex because you stay outside Nigeria. Yes!! I saw someone, and he was like, ‘Hey Arole, how are you doing? I just got back from America,’ in a very prideful way. Oga, be Humble. I stay in Nigeria, and I am doing so well.”
