Media personality Eric Gugua has cautioned men to avoid marrying women who show more affection and reverence for their pastor than for their husbands.
In a Twitter post, Gugua emphasized that it is unwise for a man to settle down with a woman who places her pastor or church leader’s opinions above her husband’s.
“Don’t marry someone who loves and adores her pastor more than you,” Gugua advised.
He further explained that some women have been known to prioritize their pastor’s views over their husband’s, even going as far as openly stating that their pastor’s opinion matters more.
“I really don’t think it’s a good idea to go ahead and marry someone who very clearly loves and adores her pastor or church leader more than she does you,” Gugua said. “Tbh, I think it’s an incredibly unwise thing to do, especially when they have shown you (and in some cases even told the man point blank) that your views and opinions come second to that of this person.”
