Prophet I.O. Samuel, Senior Pastor of Shiloh Word Chapel, has openly criticized Apostle Arome Osayi, accusing him of repeated acts of jealousy and attempts to discredit the legacy of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua.
In a strongly worded statement released by Prophet Samuel, he questioned Apostle Arome’s spiritual impact across nations and challenged the authenticity of his messages and ministerial approach.
“Brother Arome, why this repeated jealousy from nation to nation? Where are your revival results globally? How many souls have you won to Christ, sir?” Prophet Samuel asked.
The Abuja-based cleric expressed disapproval of what he described as Apostle Arome’s “classroom programs,” which, according to him, are insufficient to hinder what he called “God’s global end-time prophetic army.”
“Do you think that your funny classroom programs can stop God’s global end-time prophetic army? Examine yourself. Can you stop God’s Word and the truth that Prophet T.B. Joshua preached from spreading globally?”
Prophet Samuel warned of looming consequences, stating that Apostle Arome’s alleged campaign of “wickedness” would soon be met with resistance.
He questioned Apostle Arome’s true mission in ministry, asking whether he was building or tearing down the Kingdom of God.
“Sir, mark my words—very soon, you will meet resistance for these acts of wickedness. Are you building God’s Kingdom or scattering it?”
The message also accused Apostle Arome of lacking love and a true Kingdom message.
“I just want to tell you that you lack love and Kingdom message. What has come over you, sir? I am so disappointed in you. So the next generation can only inherit envy and jealousy from you? Why you?”
Prophet Samuel, visibly emotional in his remarks, expressed disappointment, saying:
“Most respected Apostle Arome, do you listen to your own words from the pulpit? You are just a religious political vampire, with all the people you have groomed against God’s servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua.”
The statement went further to challenge Apostle Arome’s theological criticisms of Prophet T.B. Joshua, accusing him of lying and lacking the fear of God.
“With these lies you are spreading, there is no truth of the Holy Spirit in you, and you have no fear of God. You will never achieve anything again in ministry because of these lies you have told—that Prophet T.B. Joshua never confessed Jesus Christ or achieved anything in the name of Jesus Christ.”
“Listen, sir, you will never see honor again in God’s Kingdom for these lies. Nothing good will be seen around you anymore—until you speak the truth about Prophet T.B. Joshua.”
Prophet Samuel then compared Apostle Arome’s current standing with that of other global Christian leaders, arguing that confusion has been the hallmark of his recent ministerial efforts.
“Since he went unto glory, what have you achieved in the nations of the world, if not confusion in the Body of Christ? With due respect, sir—validation is of God. Once you are biased, you lose the right to correct.”
“Shame on you and your likes in the Kingdom of God worldwide.”
In a final charge, Prophet I.O. Samuel called Apostle Arome to repentance, urging him to follow the example of other Christian leaders who have focused on salvation, healing, and deliverance.
“Repent from envy and preach Christ like Papa T.L. Osborn, Kumuyi, Baba Lola, Billy Graham, Uma Ukpai, Papa Bishop Idahosa, Papa E.A. Adeboye, and Papa Bishop Oyedepo—who preach salvation, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ better than T.B. Joshua—a graduate of life.”
He concluded his statement with a warning of eternal accountability:
“If the trumpet sounds now, what will you show or tell God with this evil heart? Repent. Jesus Christ is coming soon.”
As of the time of filing this report, Apostle Arome Osayi has not responded to the statement.
