‘Stop waiting and start working,’ Yul Edochie to entertainment stars

Nollywood actor and presidential candidate Yul Edochie has sent a message to aspiring musicians and actors, urging them to take proactive steps in pursuing their careers instead of waiting for opportunities to come to them.

In a recent address, Edochie advised musicians to stop relying on sponsorship and instead take their talents to bars and lounges.

He encouraged them to perform for free in these venues, where their skills would be noticed by the right people.

“To all the musicians, stop begging for sponsorship. Go to bars and lounges and beg them to let you sing for free. That’s where your talent will be noticed,” Edochie stated.

Turning his attention to actors, the controversial figure stressed the importance of self-initiative. He advised them not to sit idly, waiting for connections, but to seek out locations where films are made and build their own network.

“Don’t sit around begging for connections. Ask where films are made, go there, and connect yourself,” he said.

Edochie concluded by urging everyone to take control of their destinies: “Good things come to those who work for it. So don’t sit idle; get up and work. Your destiny is in your hands.”
