In a follow-up to the earlier exclusive interview with Hon. Speaking with our correspondent in Abuja, Hon. Shipi revealed that LA_SHIPSON has now entered into three key international agreements that will fast-track the realization of its core objectives in pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare services.

“We are pleased to announce that we have signed a Product Development Agreement with Asons Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd., India, a renowned pharmaceutical manufacturing firm with global expertise,” Shipi stated. “This partnership ensures that we will be working with one of the best in the field to develop quality, affordable medicines tailored to the health needs of Nigerians and the African market.”

In addition to the product development deal, the CEO also confirmed that the company has signed a Technical Partnership Agreement with Theorems Group, India, a company known for its cutting-edge pharmaceutical engineering and technical consultancy services. “With this agreement, we are bringing in global best practices and technical know-how to ensure that our production systems meet international standards from day one,” Hon. Shipi noted.

Perhaps most critical to the project’s momentum is the financial foundation. Hon. Shipi disclosed that LA_SHIPSON has secured a Project Financing Agreement with LaSalle International Inc, an international investment firm with a strong track record in funding large-scale healthcare and industrial projects. “LaSalle’s commitment underscores the confidence investors have in the viability and impact of our project. This funding will power not just our factory development, but also our hospital services and distribution network,” he added.

Beyond international collaborations, the CEO emphasized the company’s commitment to regulatory excellence and local compliance. “We are working closely with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) for our Manufacturer Premises License, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for our Manufacturing License, and the Hospital Management Board to obtain the Hospital License for our healthcare services,” he said. “These engagements are critical because we are determined to operate fully within the laws and standards of Nigeria’s healthcare regulatory system.”
