Though officially Matchday 3, this marked only the second outing for Seamoriow FC, following the postponement of their opening game. Yet, the team showed no signs of rust as they delivered a well-balanced performance to secure all three points.
The star of the evening was Salako Paul, who netted a brilliant brace. He opened the scoring as early as the 7th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to give Seamoriow the lead. His second came in the 61st minute, a composed finish following a fluid attacking move that left the Racine backline scrambling.
Abubakar Idris then put the result beyond doubt in the closing stages, registering Seamoriow’s third of the evening with a tidy finish that reflected the team’s dominance throughout the contest.
Seamoriow FC’s attacking fluidity, pressing intensity, and overall tactical cohesion were on full display, as they registered back-to-back clean sheets and extended their unbeaten start to the league.
With six points from two games, the Ajegunle-based side look increasingly like a force to reckon with in the 2025 NYML NLO campaign.
