Davido gifts Ghanaian tiktoker five thousand dollars

Nigerian musician Davido has gifted a Ghanaian tiktoker the sum of five thousand dollars for creating a cover of one of his songs.

Davido did this after a recent video by the Tiktoker, Ananzooficial went viral.

The tiktoker made an emotional cover of one of the songs from Davido’s new album ‘5ive’.

“5K US for OLS, contact #deekay-dmw,” he wrote after seeing the video.

This act of generosity from the artist does not come as a surprise to most as Davido is known for his frequent acts of philanthropy.

In 2021, he raised 200 million naira for charity through a social media post and also added an additional 50 million naira to the amount gathered. The funds gathered was donated to 292 orphanages in Nigeria.

In 2023, the singer also donated 237 million naira to 424 orphanages.

Also in 2024, Davido continued the tradition by donating 300 million naira to support the fight against drug abuse amongst Nigerian youths.

Davido also recently extended his kindness to his wife Chioma on her 39th birthday by gifting her a brand new AMG G63.
