Journalist and gospel singer, Paul Dada, has released two gospel singles, “Jesu to fun mi” and “Cast your cares.”
Dada who calls himself a non-commercial gospel singer, says the songs are part of his contribution to the advancement of the genuine Christian faith in Nigeria.
“People who know me well are aware that I don’t sing for money. Journalism is my profession. But singing to me is a ministry. This is why my approach is different from that of the so-called gospel singers who are in reality entertainers using the name of Jesus for financial gain.

“I spend my own money to do my songs without with no profit in view. Of course, I do sometimes get financial support for my efforts from friends. And I strictly deliberately refuse to go the commercial route. The gospel is not for sale,” says Dada.
Explaining what the two songs are about, Dada says, ” The songs acknowledge the unimpeachable Biblical truth of believers necessarily undergoing tribulation as a means of preparing for their eternal destiny. But the songs also assure that saints even while undergoing severest trials, challenges, persecutions, can lay all their burdens on Christ for nothing outside His plan will befall them .In the end, they would have their victory.”
