The theme of the Gala was ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ and the Nigerian celebrities in attendance went added the African flair to the colourful event with their unique outfits.
Some of the Nigerian stars in attendance were Tems, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Chimamanda Adichie, and Swanky Jerry.
The Grammy award winner, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems wore an African inspired outfit with Aso-Ebi print.
Damini Ogulu also known as Burna Boy graced the red carpet wearing a custom piece designed by Ozwald Boateng.

The 2025 Met Gala experienced a shoe af African excellence as other African stars like Tyla were in attendance.
The Met Gala has been led since 1995 by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
