Tanzanian music star Juma Jux is publicly celebrating his wife, Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, as he releases the official music video for his latest single, God Design, featuring Nigerian rapper Phyno.
Announcing the release via his Instagram page, Juma Jux dedicated the song and video to Priscilla, whom he described as “the best wife.”
A behind-the-scenes clip from the shoot captures Jux showering her with praises: “Priscilla is the best wife. She’s always by my side no matter what,” he said.
The couple’s love story has been in the spotlight since their lavish traditional wedding, during which Jux pledged to take care of Priscilla’s parents—popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and her ex-husband—and promised to invite them to Tanzania once the couple begins raising children.
In March, Priscilla turned 24, and Jux didn’t hold back in expressing his admiration. “Since she came into my life, everything started making sense,” he said in a heartfelt message. “She coloured my world in ways I can’t put into words.”
The couple also made headlines at the Headies Awards two weeks ago, where Jux, accompanied by Priscilla, won Best East African Artiste of the Year. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his wife, family, management, and fans, and expressed appreciation to the award organisers for acknowledging East African talent.
However, not all reactions have been positive. A Twitter user, Oku Yungx, suggested Jux married Priscilla for popularity and awards in Nigeria. Responding with wit and sarcasm, Priscilla clapped back, saying, “Yes, my husband married me for Nigerian recognition and the Headies Award. The game is the game.” She hailed Jux as a “smart, calculative, and hardworking” man.
Last year, the couple melted hearts when Jux released a love song dedicated to Priscilla, titled Olulufe. The accompanying video, which shows the couple dancing intimately, was described by Jux as a special gift for them to enjoy together. He even launched a challenge for couples to share their own versions.
