Detailing how the money was spent, Davido said he paid his manager his rightful percentage, purchased a Chevrolet Camaro, and then splurged on a lavish celebration with his cousin and fellow artist, B-Red.
According to the singer, the duo rented out an entire floor at the prestigious Eko Hotel in Lagos for a week-long party, which quickly drained the funds.
“1st endorsement deal. MY FIRST 20M NAIRA. I PAY ASA HIM PERCENTAGE. FROM THERE I GO BUY CAMARO. FROM CAMARO NAH EKO HOTEL. ME AND @BREDHKN ONE WHOLE FLOOR ONE WEEK. MONEY FINISH,” he wrote in the caption.
