Nigerian music artiste Tolibian has revealed his struggle with depression following the short-lived buzz around his viral song Ramadan.

The song gained massive attention on social media during the 2025 Ramadan season (February–March), eventually catching the interest of rapper Odumodublvck, who joined Tolibian on a remix version.

In a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, Tolibian admitted that the wave of attention was fleeting and left him feeling emotionally drained.

“After the buzz of ‘Ramadan’ faded, I became depressed at some point,” he said.

Despite the emotional toll, Tolibian remains optimistic. He believes the track has the potential to resurface next Ramadan, calling it “evergreen.”
