Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has showered praises on his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, describing him as the best governor the state has ever had.
In a recent interview on Culture Knock Out (C.K.O) hosted by Chris and Baloo, Davido dismissed early criticisms of his uncle, noting that many underestimated Adeleke due to his jovial nature and love for dancing.
“My uncle, the Dancing Governor, is good vibes. He has an amazing story; he is the last born of my dad’s family. They never believed that he would become a governor,” Davido said.
He continued, “He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.’ Just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best governor that they’ve ever had.”
