‘Juma Jux is broke, lives in father's house,’ Popular TikToker claims

Priscilla Ojo, Juma Jux shine at 2025 Trace Awards

A Nigerian TikToker identified as May May has stirred controversy online after alleging that Tanzanian singer and husband to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, Juma Jux, is not as wealthy as he appears.

In a viral video, May May claimed Jux still lives in a house built by his late father in Tanzania and accused him of misleading fans about his financial status.

She recalled a situation where the artiste claimed he missed his business class flight to Rwanda—a narrative she challenged, suggesting he opted for economy due to financial constraints.

May May further alleged that Priscilla and her mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, had taught Jux how to negotiate discounted flight tickets.

“They’re teaching him how to write ‘business class’ on a ticket when he’s flying economy,” she claimed.

The video has since triggered mixed reactions on social media. While some users criticized the woman for invading the couple’s privacy, others defended Jux’s right to live modestly regardless of his celebrity status.

One user commented, “So celebrities are no longer allowed to fly economy?” while another noted, “It’s sad people sit down just to analyze others’ lives like this.”

Recall that Juma Jux recently confirmed that the final leg of his wedding celebrations with Priscilla will take place in Tanzania. He expressed his desire to hold ceremonies in multiple countries, but shared that his bride was growing weary of the festivities.
