Obinna Oparaku Akuwudike, a self-styled activist, has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sponsoring media advocacy efforts led by Sandra Duru, popularly known as “Prof Mgbeke.”

Obinna claimed that Duru’s recent activities were part of a coordinated effort aimed at influencing public perception of political figures.

Obinna further alleged that during a private conversation, Sandra Duru mentioned that her advocacy work was supported by influential political figures.

He further claimed that he was paid ₦2.5 million by Duru to produce a series of videos concerning Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

“I began to suspect a deeper agenda when I noticed inconsistencies in the claims and the nature of the material she wanted produced,” Obinna stated.

He added that some narratives, including allegations involving Senator Natasha and other public figures, were misleading.

According to Obinna, the media campaigns were intended to influence public opinion, but he did not provide verifiable evidence to support these claims.

He urged for greater scrutiny of politically motivated advocacy and called for transparency in media narratives.
