Renowned gospel minister, Peterson Okopi, has survived a near-death car accident, leaving fans and followers in surprise of what many have described as God’s protection.
The singer, known for his soul-stirring worship songs, took to Instagram on Saturday to share news of the incident. In a series of photos, Okopi revealed the severely damaged front of his vehicle, showing shattered glass and a crumpled bonnet. Despite the wreckage, he reassured fans with the caption:
“IF NOT FOR THE LORD WHO WAS ON OUR SIDE… Don’t panic, nothing missing, nothing broken. Keep reading.”
While he didn’t provide details of where or how the accident occurred, Okopi used the opportunity to point followers toward his upcoming worship event, “The Inner Court (Thanksgiving),” scheduled for May 31.
Encouraging participation, he wrote:
“Come with your instrument of praise and worship — above all, your heart. We will praise more, and share more! We go harder, and do more in the strength of the Lord.”
