Award-winning actress and filmmaker Juliet Ibrahim has added a new feather to her cap — a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing Communications) from Berkeley College.

This marks a triumphant milestone in a journey defined by sacrifice, resilience, and a fierce commitment to family.

Taking to Instagram, the Ghanaian-Liberian star reflected on the sacrifices she made after high school, choosing to forgo higher education in order to support her siblings’ education.

“As the first daughter in my family, I chose to work and wait, putting higher education on hold so my siblings could succeed,” she wrote.

“She reminded me that it’s never too late,” Ibrahim shared, giving heartfelt credit to Berkeley College for welcoming her warmly as an online adult student and making her feel “safe and included.”

Now, at 42, the actress, author, and single mother is preparing to walk the graduation stage for the first time.

“This journey was far from easy, but I stayed committed. I can’t wait to walk across that graduation stage — definitely a moment I’ll never forget,” she said.

Juliet’s inspiring story is also featured in her memoir, A Toast to Life, where she details her path through hardship, fame, and personal growth.

“To every woman chasing her goals despite the odds,” she wrote in a powerful message to her fans, “this is your reminder: it’s never too late!”

The actress signs off her post with gratitude to all who stood by her: “We did it!”
