Women are the backbone of every home – Actress Rita Edochie

Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has emphasized the pivotal role women play in the success of every household, describing them as the unsung heroes who provide the moral and emotional foundation upon which families are built.

In a message shared on her Instagram page, Edochie stated that “99 per cent of the success of every home is to the credit of every right-thinking woman,” especially in monogamous homes.

She revealed the importance of women as the “stamina” of the home, responsible for shaping values, morals, and the overall character of their families.

“Behind every successful home, there lies an unsung hero who toils tirelessly, often without recognition or accolades,” she wrote.
“This hero is none other than the woman of the house, who brings unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unshakeable resilience to the table.”

Edochie further explained that women are instrumental in managing households, nurturing relationships, and creating an environment of love, care, and warmth.

Their contributions, she noted, are often taken for granted, yet their influence is both profound and enduring.

“Their contributions are invaluable, their impact immeasurable, and their love unconditional. As we celebrate the women who make our homes shine, let us honour their strength, courage and resilience,” she added.
