The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival kicked off on the 13th of May with global film stars gracing the red carpet in glamorous looks.
The Cannes Film Festival is considered to be one of the big three major European film festivals.
The opening ceremony of the two weeks long festival kicked off on the 12th of May, at the Grand Théâtre Lumière.
Film stars like Julia Garner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eva Longoria, Robert De Niro and so many others graced the red carpet looking stunning.
The Cannes Film Festival had earlier issued a warning to attendees about adhering to the new dress code. The Cannes prohibited nude like dresses and long trains at the red carpet.
