Popular media personality, VJ Adams, has called out young men for failing to ask meaningful questions when choosing romantic partners, accusing them of chasing superficial qualities rather than substance.

In a video making rounds on social media, VJ Adams expressed frustration over what he described as the lack of depth in how men approach relationships. He pointed out that while women often inquire about a man’s profession and background before committing, men tend to focus solely on physical appearance.

“Afa, see young boys… I don’t know, by now, you people still do not have sense, but I will help you, that’s why ègbón adugbo is here,” he said. “Look at your female folks, whenever they are discussing amongst themselves and one of them wants to introduce a new man, the first question they are going to ask is: What does he do? They want to check if he has asked them out before or toasted them before. But Sheri eyin boys yi, idiot ni, idiot ni. Ọmọ, this your baby carry sha… never asking important questions.”
