Nollywood star Funke Akindele has showered praises on fellow actress Iyabo Ojo following her warm reception in Tanzania for the wedding celebration of Iyabo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
Akindele, who traveled alongside colleague Jayeola Monje, was seen in a viral video arriving at the airport, where she was received in grand style by Iyabo Ojo.
The emotional clip showed the two actresses embracing warmly, with Iyabo presenting Akindele with flowers and a stylish cape.
Taking to her Instagram page, Funke shared videos from the welcome, expressing her excitement and congratulating the couple.
“Tanzania!!!! We don come o!!!! It’s all about my darling Priscilla @its.priscy and her husband, @juma_jux. Congratulations guys!!!” she wrote.
She also took a moment to celebrate Iyabo Ojo, referring to her as “Iya Iyawo toh sexy,”
