In celebration of this year’s Children’s Day, the Center for Transformative Action and Empowerment Forum undertook a heartfelt community outreach initiative, distributing food and drinks to hundreds of vulnerable children across two Lagos State communities.
Led by Executive Secretary Dr. Omobolaji Fati, the outreach team first visited Idi-Araba, where food bags were handed out to children in need.
The team also engaged local community leaders, explaining the purpose of the initiative and stressing the importance of sustained support for disadvantaged youths.
The outreach continued at the Ebute Meta area, where additional food bags were distributed to hundreds more children.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Fati said, “This outreach program is our humble contribution to alleviating the current hardship faced by many families, particularly street children.
“We recognize that Children’s Day is a special occasion, but our commitment to supporting the downtrodden will not be limited to special days. This is just the beginning of our ongoing sustainable efforts to make a positive impact in our communities.”
The Center for Transformative Action and Empowerment Forum reaffirmed its dedication to empowering marginalized communities and fostering transformative change beyond symbolic events.
