Veteran journalist and media mogul Dele Momodu has publicly thanked Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, following the heartwarming reunion between his nephew, Afrobeats star David Adeleke (popularly known as Davido), and his daughter, Imade Adeleke.
On Tuesday, May 28, Davido took to his Instagram Stories to share tender moments spent with Imade, his first child. The singer expressed his joy with the caption:
“Best day of my life!!”
Shortly after the post, Dele Momodu — who is an uncle to Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu — shared a photo of Governor Adeleke with young Imade, suggesting that the governor played a key role in mending the strained father-daughter relationship.
“Thank you my twin brother… Love conquers,” Momodu wrote.
This emotional reunion comes nearly a year after Sophia Momodu shared a note allegedly written by Imade, in which the young girl expressed sorrow over her father’s absence.
