A 22-year-old man, Levi Bancroft, has been sentenced to life in prison for raping two teenage girls and a woman.

Bancroft, of West Drayton, was convicted of four counts of rape and actual bodily harm following a Metropolitan Police investigation.

The court heard that Bancroft targeted vulnerable women over a five-year period, using threats and violence to intimidate his victims.

The investigation, which involved close collaboration with Thames Valley Police, used DNA evidence and CCTV footage to link Bancroft to the crimes.

Detective Constable Lloyd Leech, who led the Met’s investigation, praised the bravery of the victims in coming forward and reporting the crimes.

The victims’ courage in pursuing justice has brought closure to their ordeal.

Detective Constable Rebekah Routh, who led the Thames Valley investigation, commended the victims’ bravery in trusting the police to bring Bancroft to justice.

The sentencing marks a significant victory in the fight against violence against women and girls.
