Comedian I Go Save laments over rising begging in Nigerian public spaces

In a recent Instagram post, I Go Save noted that begging has become alarmingly common in locations such as airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, and parks.

Popular Nigerian stand-up comedian Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, known as I Go Save, has expressed concern about the increasing prevalence of begging in public places across Nigeria.

In a recent Instagram post, I Go Save noted that begging has become alarmingly common in locations such as airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, and parks.

While acknowledging the tough economic realities Nigerians face, he urged citizens to curb excessive soliciting and instead focus on mutual support.

“The rate of begging in this country’s public space is alarming. Airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, parks, et al are alarming. I know say country hard but make una calm down o! Na same country we dey abeg but help who you can sha,” he wrote.
