Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel has unveiled a powerful new EP titled “Lemon Chase”, a seven-track project that dives deep into the complexities of life, blending themes of love, heartbreak, healing, and joy into one cohesive sonic journey.
Far from just a warm-up to his forthcoming album “Uncle K”, Lemon Chase is a heartfelt expression of the singer’s personal evolution.
From the spellbinding opener “Black Girl Magic” to the emotionally charged closing track “Police”, which features the soulful Johnny Drille and five-time Grammy winner Angélique Kidjo, every song serves as a chapter in Kizz Daniel’s emotional diary.
The EP showcases a dynamic lineup of collaborators. The raw, street energy of Bella Shmurda, Odumodu Blvck, and Zlatan blends seamlessly with the lyrical finesse of Fola, who reunites with Kizz after their previous hit, Lost.
Together, they help craft a vibrant, multi-layered soundscape that captures the essence of the Afrobeats movement.

Reflecting on Lemon Chase, Kizz Daniel says: “When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade out of it. I wanted this project to feel like real life—sweet, sour, confusing, beautiful. This is music for your heart, for when you’re healing, or hoping, or remembering. I just wanted it to be honest, authentic, and true to self.”
With this project, Kizz Daniel doesn’t just deliver hits—he shares stories. Lemon Chase sets a raw, soulful tone for what’s to come on Uncle K, and once again proves why his name continues to resonate in the heart of Afrobeats.
