Big Brother Naija star Queen Mercy Atang has opened up about her recent social media actions involving her husband, David Oyekanmi.

The couple, who got married in March 2024, stirred rumors of marital issues when Queen Mercy unfollowed David on Instagram and deleted their wedding photos in October 2024.

In a recent interview, Queen Mercy explained that her decision was driven by her desire to keep their marriage private and away from the public eye. “I was just trying to take my relationship off social media. Because my husband’s account is out there, a lot of girls feel the need to slide in his DM to say positive and negative things,” she said.
