Why Tems’ backside is still breaking the internet after seven years

Nigerian Grammy-winning singer Tems has finally addressed ongoing public chatter about her physique, especially her famously large backside.

Since rising to international fame, Tems’ figure has been a hot topic on social media, with netizens endlessly debating the size and shape of her derriere.

After seven years of speculation and commentary, the singer took to Twitter (now X) to set the record straight.

In a witty post, Tems called out the persistent discussions, describing them as “weird” and urging people to “pack it up.” She emphasized that she has never hidden her body, but she doesn’t feel compelled to prove or disprove anyone’s opinions.

“Okay 7 years in. It’s time to pack it up. I never thought I’d need to say it, but you are all weird. ‘It’s small, it’s flat, it’s fat.’ Dog ITS MINE,” she tweeted.

She playfully challenged critics who demand to see her “bumbum” by asking them to show theirs first, highlighting how ridiculous such demands are. Tems also added that she plans to lose weight but insists it’s just a body and that people’s dislike of it only works in her favor.

“The more you don’t like my body, the better for me, actually. But it’s enough now. Move on from my bum,” she concluded.
