Reality TV star and model Faith Morey has opened up about her long-kept battle with cancer, revealing how the diagnosis reshaped her life and purpose.
During a conversation on the Tea With Tay podcast, Morey disclosed that she was diagnosed with cancer approximately four to five years ago—a moment she described as life-altering.
At the time, Morey was living quietly on a ranch with her son, embracing a slower pace of life away from the public eye. However, her diagnosis forced her into a deep period of reflection.
“The news really hit me. I started thinking about what I would leave behind for my son,” she said.
She recalled how, upon hearing the diagnosis, her thoughts immediately went to her son and the legacy she hoped to leave behind—not just memories, but values and strength he could carry forward.
“Most people didn’t know about that… I remember just looking at [the doctor] and all I thought about was what will people tell my child… not the day I was buried, but what legacy I’ve left.”
Morey admitted the illness became a turning point in her life, pushing her to be more intentional and purpose-driven.
“At that time, I had put my dream on hold. I was just Faith—relaxed on a ranch because I had lived and thought that was it. I told God that if I go through this and I come out alive, I would never play small.”
