‘God of my pastor,’ Alex Asogwa blows hot at fans who idolize their pastors

Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex Asogwa, has caused controversy online with statement addressing what she describes as religious fanaticism among some Nigerians.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Alex expressed concern over people who excessively idolize religious leaders, revealing that she considers anyone who prays using the phrase “The God of my pastor” as a “lost soul.”

“Once I hear you say ‘The God of my pastor’, I know you are a lost cause and we can’t reason the same,” she wrote bluntly.

She went further to say that she finds it baffling when individuals go as far as using their pastor’s image as wallpaper on their phones or devices.

“Some even use their pastor’s picture as wallpaper. It leaves me stunned,” Alex added.
