Super Falcons and Al Ittihad defender, Ashleigh Plumptre, has denied making a Facebook post about being left out of the national team and accusing the NFF of corruption.
She explained that she has many Facebook pages she doesn’t use, and hackers may have taken over some of them to post false messages.
Ashleigh warned her fans not to believe any news from unverified sources. Instead, she advised them to follow only her official pages for real updates.
Plumptre made this known via her official X account (Formerly Twitter)
“There are many accounts (mainly Facebook, which I rarely even use anyway) who are trying to take my identity and either making fake promises to people or releasing statements I have never said. Only follow and believe my verified accounts. Thank you ,” she wrote.
In her X post, she tagged the Nigeria Football Federation (@thenff) and NFF women’s football head Ruth David (@ruthdavid90) in her message.
