The Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has empowered 400 women and young farmers spanning 17 local government areas in Enugu State through the distribution of vital agricultural inputs.

The distributed items included wheelbarrows, seedlings, fertilisers, pesticides, livestock feed, piglets, chicks, cassava processors, and other essential farming tools, aimed at boosting productivity and sustainability.

This effort forms part of Senator Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), a nationwide programme focused on uplifting vulnerable groups and supporting agricultural development.

Mrs. Nkechingere Mbah, Wife of the Enugu State Governor, represented Senator Tinubu at the distribution ceremony on Saturday, describing the programme as a significant boost to agriculture in the region. She highlighted its focus on empowering women and youth to ensure sustainable farming practices.

Mrs. Mbah emphasised the partnership between the Renewed Hope Initiative and the Enugu State Government as a strategic collaboration for advancing sustainable agriculture.
