Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Monday paid a private visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing support for the administration’s efforts amid the country’s economic challenges.
Speaking after the meeting in Lagos, Fayose described the visit as a personal gesture aimed at encouraging President Tinubu to stay focused on the reforms and responsibilities of leadership.
While acknowledging the difficult terrain of governance, he stressed that Nigerians must recognise the efforts made so far.
“My visit is personal, to further encourage him to continue what he is doing for Nigerians. No one is saying it’s easy, and there is no miracle that can turn things around overnight, but for the little the president has done, we must commend him,” Fayose stated.
