President Bola Tinubu on Monday received the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, who paid him a Sallah homage at his Lagos residence in celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

The visit, which took place amid ongoing nationwide observances of the Islamic holiday, was marked by warm exchanges and traditional goodwill.

Oba Adejugbe, one of the most respected traditional rulers in Ekiti State, led a delegation to extend festive greetings to the President and reaffirm support for his administration.

President Tinubu expressed gratitude for the monarch’s gesture, describing it as a symbol of national unity and cultural reverence.

The courtesy visit came as part of a series of traditional and religious engagements marking the Sallah period, during which leaders and citizens alike share in the spirit of sacrifice, gratitude, and nation-building.

Many eminent Nigerians have been visiting the president in Lagos as part of Sallah celebration.

One of such is former Delta State Governor Chief James Ibori and business magnate Chief Razaq Okoya.

The gathering, held on the occasion of the Sallah festivities, also featured influential figures such as Prince Samuel Adedoyin, Founder and Chairman of Doyin Group of Companies, as well as Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu.

Chief Okoya, founder of the renowned Eleganza Group of Companies, was warmly received alongside his family members, including Mrs. Shade Okoya and Raheem Okoya, further underscoring the blend of business and political support present at the event.
