Founder of Abel Damina Ministries International, Dr. Abel Damina, has stirred controversy with his recent claims that tithes and offerings do not go to God but are used by men.
In a viral video from a recent Sunday service, the Akwa Ibom-based preacher declared:
“No offering goes to heaven. Every offering we collect is used by men. All the offerings we give to God go to men.”
Known for challenging conventional Christian doctrines, Damina criticized preachers who promote tithing as a divine obligation, alleging that many exploit congregants for financial gain.
He stated:
“Those tithe mongers who say the windows of heaven will open when you pay tithes are lying. The doors have been open since Jesus rose from the dead. They collect from everyone but don’t give to anyone. I was there; I know how it works.”
